Title Challengers?

Arsenal F.C yesterday evening demonstrated their drive and fight to beat Liverpool F.C at home at the Emirates.

It was a 5-goal thriller with Arsenal getting the more of the goals with 3. Martinelli started off the thriller by scoring in a mere 58 seconds, stunning Klopp, the travelling fans and the players.

Liverpool were however able to get an equalizer through a Diaz and Nunez link up with the latter thumping the ball into the net, ending his goal drought.

He celebrated a little bit too provocatively, not knowing that they were in for a shock. Saka got on the scoreboard to make it 2-1 right before half-time.

In the second half, Klopp made a few changes, most notably taking off Trent Alexander-Arnold who had been effectively pushed out of his comfort zone by Gabby Martinelli who was having a game of his life time.

Roberto Firmino, who had just come in for an injured Luis Diaz got on the scoreboard to make it 2-2, effectively turning the game to one of wits and nerves.

Arsenal won a penalty with just over 15 minutes of normal time left to play and Bukayo Saka calmly slotted it home to score the winner, totally unlike the England vs Italy Final.

My man of the match was definitely Gabriel Martinelli, his runs were almost pitch-perfect, causing the Live defenders total trouble. He is definitely one to watch over the next a couple of years.

This result led us back to the top of the summit of the Premier League, with 24 points, a point above hot-shot and in-form Manchester City.

It is still pretty early in the season, with just over 9 GameWeeks played. However, this shouldn't deter the fact that the boyz are now looking deadlier than ever, their fighting spirit always alive in every game nowadays. Can Arsenal shock the whole world by lifting the P.L??? Well...Only time will tell.
