The Boys put on an amazing display of dominance and confidence whilst playing at Stanford Bridge and the result doesn't do justice to the passion and endurance the boys displayed to take us back to the top of the Premier League.
Gabriel Jesus occasionally came close to give us the lead in the first half but he was unfortunately unable to finish the attack but his performance was just memorable. If he continues playing like this, I won't complain as wherever and whenever he progresses the ball forward, we look more dangerous and even the more likely to score.
He even cleanly slid the ball to Martin Ødegaard, providing him with a clear opportunity to seal the game but his shot was ultimately off target as it went flying way over the crossbar.
William Saliba was the man who stole the show moreso, greatly and correctly earning the man of the match award as his tactical masterclass was the key that our defence needed in order to keep the much-needed cleansheet.
This win puts us temporarily 2 points clear of our closest rivals, Manchester City, with 34 points. The W was also a clear indicator of what The Boyz and Arteta want to achieve this season, clearly imprinting their names onto the 22/23 Premier League Title Contenders' List.
With one more Gameweek left to the World Cup, it is important for the players and the team as a whole to keep the momentum going and ensure that we remain top of the table right before The World Cup in order for us to pick off from right where we left off come late December. This means that we should ensure that we get that W when we visit Wolverhampton Wanderers at The Molineaux Stadium come this Saturday, 12th November.
However, right before that game, come Wednesday, we are hosting an in-form Brighton and Hove Albion F.C at The Emirates for our E.F.L Cup 3rd Round Match. This will definitely be a big test for the boyz as Brighton have gone through a revolution of sorts and with their talisman, Trossard, are slowly but surely becoming a force to reckon with in the Premier League.
I hope Mikel will work his tactical masterclass magic and be able to enlist a squad that will be able to compete aggressively and efficiently in the two matches remaining right before the World Cup.
Either way, it was a fantastic Super Sunday for The Gunners; beating Chelsea at their own homeground, former Arsenal Manager Unai Emery demolishing United in his first match as Villa Manager and our all-time rivals, Spurs, being edged out by Liverpool with a brace from Mohamed Salah sealing the LilyWhites' defeat.
COYG!!! 'Tis our time to shine.
