Do you still believe?

As we enter the tail end of the 23/24 Premier League season, two teams are still fighting for the much coveted trophy, those being Arsenal and Manchester City. Arsenal are currently at the top of the summit with 83 points and are on course to reach City's last season's total tally of 89 with 2 games remaining.

However, this might still not be enough for the men in red to clinch their first title in 20 years as Manchester City are breathing down their necks with only a point currently separating the two teams with City having a game in hand.

Arsenal's final fixtures are a tricky away fixture at Old Trafford and a home fixture on the final day against Sean Dyche's Everton who have recently found form with 3 wins and a draw in their last 5 matches, the highlight being the win against title-chasing Liverpool that dragged Klopp's men out of the title-chase.

Manchester City's final fixtures are all against London teams; away against Fulham, away against Tottenham and a home fixture against West Ham United. These teams haven't had a good recent run of form though; Fulham have only 1 win in their last 5 matches (1W, 2D, 2L), Tottenham have lost 4 of their last 5 matches (1W, 0D, 4L) while West Ham also have only 1 win in their last 5 matches (1W, 1D, 3L).

Judging with City's run in the title run-in in the past five or so seasons, it is not looking good for Arsenal as these lot have barely dropped points in the final matches of the season. (Last season they only lost to Brentford on the final day after they had already been confirmed as the champions).

However, football is football and that's what makes the game interesting. Every single match has its owns twists and turns which may change the outcome of a club's season. Who knows what each match has in store for us?

If Arsenal are to be champions, they have to be near flawless (Lose at Old Trafford or even draw and it's game over) and pray that one of the London teams does them a huge favor by at the very least holding them to a draw or even miraculously beating them. Which begs the question, do you still believe?

Wrote this during the Fulham vs City game and Gvardiol has already scored smh.
